Pine Bark 12-20mm

Pine bark is a natural, uncoloured mulch in a 12mm to 20mm chip. It breaks down slowly, so it lasts longer than finer mulches and does not need topping up as often. The soft brown colour suits native gardens, pathways and play areas.

A 50mm to 75mm layer holds moisture, evens out soil temperature and keeps weeds down. As it slowly composts it also feeds the soil. It is a practical, good-value mulch for larger beds and under established trees and shrubs.
