Asphalt oversize is a recycled asphalt product that makes a practical, low-cost surface for driveways, laneways, car parks and rural tracks. Spread and compacted, its bitumen content helps it bind and firm up, especially in warm weather.
It gives a darker, sealed-looking finish at a fraction of the cost of hot mix, which is why it is popular for farm tracks and overflow parking. Lay it over a compacted base, roll it, and it tightens into a durable surface.
