Hoop iron is a thin galvanised steel strap used to tie and brace in brickwork and timber framing. Bricklayers build it into mortar joints for extra tie strength, and carpenters use it as strap bracing on frames.
It bends by hand, cuts to length and nails or beds in quickly. This roll holds 15 lineal metres. A cheap, versatile fixing worth keeping on the truck for bracing and tying jobs.
